Ok, what about the fact that the Club has fallen apart in the two years since winning a flag.

I wouldn't read to much into Hawthorns season. To succeed in the AFL everything has to go right. And don't take anything away from Freo. The Hawks will regroup and have another crack next season, like every other team.
I have no love for the Hawks, if it wasn't for them we'd be going for our 4th in a row, wouldn't THAT give the prelim (if we make it) an added twist. As it is this will be an incredibly difficult flag to win.
As for the hawks, I'll give them a break next season and fill my team with Collingwood players, that'll stuff yuz.

Though a little bit of luck helped in 2007 and 2009! Pies and Saints weren't that far away from beating you guys in 07 and 09.

Alas it is all history, much like the underperforming Hawks of 09 & 10. How many letters can Jeff write before it all gets a bit tedious.

Thats right cruiz, it's all history, I can play "what if's" all I like but the bottom line is the same. I hope we beat Freo, the prelim between our teams could be a classic.

Apologies Hawka, we assumed you would be on holiday or doing something else rather than talking football what with the miserable finsih to your year.

Far be for it for us to talk finals football in a Hawthorn thread when all you guys are worried about is pre-season training and losing players you tried unsuccessfully to trade last year.
