3 Options:

1. Trade Raines for Cheney or Hurley
    Petrie for Mcintosh
    Cousins for ablett

Pros: I get the god of captaincy mr.ablett
Cons: Blow 3 trades in first 2 rounds

2. Trade Raines for Cheney or Hurley
    Cousins for Judd

Pros: Get a super fit Judd this year & only 2 trades
Cons: no Ablett

3. Trade Petrie for mcintosh
    Cousins for Judd

Pros: Ruck that will get plenty of time
Cons: Petrie will play all year, raines is out for 4-6 weeks

Petrie - McIntosh is unecessary. You should've had Big Mac in the 1st place but it's not worth using a trade on now.

I said option 2, although I'd take a different MID. But if you like Juddy...

Edit: Just realised I'm in the SC forum lol. By all means take Juddernaut if we're talking supercoach.

Right on XZtatic, it's SC - Juddy's your man.

So you have Raines and Cousins?
Gee, that stinks.
Who are your bench players in your mids and backs?
Can you cover both of them for a month or even a week?
Don't trade Petrie, that would just be plain dumb. You have him, he is fit and scoring, forget about him. Trades are gold.
I'd wait a week at miniumum, if you have subs to cover Raines/Cuz. Then assess this weekends games before any decisions.

I'm completely baffled as to why people get into a trade frenzy so early.

I have Liam Anthony. But I also have Andy Otten on the pine. So I'll sub him in and wait until next week. By then, NM might even come out and say Anthony is recovering better than expected and is only 3 weeks away. Then I won't be trading at all.

My point is be patient! I think I might cut and paste this sentence onto about 20 other threads!

this game is so frustrating.
is it viable to hold on to raines....will he come good after 4 weeks off and be the backman so many of us hoped he would be?
i told myself i would not trade until round 5 at the earliest, but if raines doesn't slot straight back into the richmond team and get significant TOG, then i'd just be delaying the inevitable (and losing sc points in the meantime).

anyone else considering keeping raines?
can anyone offer an opinion?
thanks.

i can't believe the level of panic, over-analysis & self doubt after 1 round.

If i don't make any trades

Suban will sub for Raines

Otten for Cousins

So will be a very risky 4 weeks
