Toovey or Goldsack?

Toovey has done pretty well this year, and has seemed to have secured his place in the backline. Personally, i think he is a bit fumbly and he loses the ball too often. I'd like to see Goldsack stay in the side once Maxwell is back.
What do people think? Who is better, Toovey or Goldsack?

Big fan of Toovey! And really don't think he'll be dropped, so I gotta say Goldsack would be the one to go.

First poll i have set up. I've not made it very clear, but the question is who is the better of the two. Not who will get dropped.

A tough call.

Goldy is a very solid player who takes a good mark and can keep his oponent quite.

Toov's can be a bit more damaging though with his line breaking runs, but like Ruckus said can be a bit fumbly at times.

Toov's just....

8-6 Suited

Look, in all honesty, I would have to side with Goldsack due to his ability to take the strong mark and contest a lot harder. Toov's main downsides are as mentioned already his clumsiness which is what we can't afford to have in the backline.

However, I would like to see Toovey playing off a forward flank. He has a driving kick that could be a much welcome penetration, and his run would be a major upside allowing Cloke to play a more traditional forward.

I didnt used to be a fan of Toovey but he has done a great job this year

Tough call indeed. I slightly prefer Goldsack but in the interest of team balance he proably plays a little more like Maxwell than Toovey.

It might end up being a horses for courses situation.

A good problem to have Fraser, Medhurst, Anthony, Dick - surely our seconds have to be flag favourites!
