Nth Melbourne Vs Carlton worst umpired game this year! ive watched 80% of games this year and apart from the odd bad decision ive been happy with the umps, even tho im a blue supporter i thought tonight was well below acceptable. help me out here am i being biased?

Marcz you are 110% correct, appalling desicions all going against carlton umpires should get fined for there performance so many bad calls, i dont no if u remember when Jacobs hip and shouldered someone when the ball was out of bounds called a free kick against, they do it all the time after a goal or before the game, Disgraceful and i hate Carlton.

I thought carlton got the good end tbh, probably the only thing that kept them in the game.

all i know is i have watched all the blues games and i havnt got upset at the umps more than a bad call here or there, tonight i was ranting at the tv and im not usually like that cos a games a game and if its called the same way u adapt to it but i felt the umps were way off and some times in favour of the blues but most times the roos, i was just  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Very one sided, seemed like every time a Blue touched the footy NM automatically got a free, or at least, in patches.

roo boys!

I liked it ;D Blues supporters around me?..... well they are a different story! ;D

There were some "funny" decisions, but I wouldn't say Carlton suffered THAT much. They (Carlton) seemed to give away stupid free kicks that cost them dearly. I remember 2 occasions a Carlton player decked a roo and it was right in front of an umpire. Both times it cost them a goal. They all know the rules, if the ball is not in your vicinity you don't touch opposition players. It's not rocket science.
All week the media have been saying what a "tough" game it's going to be and I think the younger players get caught up in the hype.

CFC 1979

australia suffers at the hands of these bolkes every week

umpire appreciation round - they should be wearing L plates round their necks

maybe the AFL should have supporter appreciation round. one where we stone one of these flogs

woops - sorry Andrew D ( on a side note you were a Nth player weren't you Andy D ? mmm 25 yr F/Night footy anniversary and Nth get the F/C count ) mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :P

Rubbish. Give credit where it's due. North were too good

I often give Credit. But Last Night, it was Umpires and Thomas who got North over the line.

I was at the game and I think the umpiring was very one sided (much to the delight of blues fans) and Carlton found themselves having no one to kick to alot

I thought the Hawks vs Pies game was bad ump'ed. Pies got away with heaps in that game and hawks should have been awarded for not only high tackles but a few meaningless pushes in the back.

A push in the back is a push in the back regardless of how insignifigantly it affects the front markers ability to hold the grab. There were also a few instances of holding the ball on Pies part that were not rewarded to Hawks. None the less it would have made no difference to the outcome of the game as Pies flogged the living crap out of the Hawks
