Is it me, or is GWS a stopped project? All you here about is Gold Coast that, and Gold Coast this. What about GWS? I don't think GWS have more than 10 players yet, play games in a state league, and they aren't getting any draft picks next draft... All the attention of the AFL is focused on GC. I promise you next year there won't be any hype on GWS, and when they join the league, they'll get beaten by Richmond! :o

I'm sure when Gold Coast have completed their list, the hype over uncontracted players for the upcoming season will return.

I watched the GWS Under 18 side in the TAC Cup on the weekend... They looked ordinary against the top of the table Northern Knights. I doubt many of the guys playing on the weekend will make the AFL in 2012, but it wasn't good.

I agree.............this time last year the GC had a fair few more players on their list (GWS only signed their first 4 this week), as well as a full coaching staff and team colours. It seems the GWS process is taking longer for whatever reason. GWS do however have greater zone access than GC, which is an advantage, and im sure this time next year there will be as much hype about uncontracted players as there is now, especially with free agency being introduced.

GWS are going slower because of the AFL not helping a bit. They love the GC.
