with raines out 4-6 weeks wats everyone doin? Hes my 6th defender with s.hill 7th suban and broughton on bench.. was thinkin bout sellin raines to someone like petrenko.. Any thorts??

yes in your case trade raines for someone like cheney, petrenko or hurley, suban an broughton may not be  able to cover you the whole 6 weeks if thats how long it will be. ive already got petrenko tho and am considering trading raines for petterd he was good before he got injured and scored 92 on tha w.e.

yeh i was also considering petterd.. But yeh think petrenko/hurley/cheney and the $100k in the bank is a better option

I'm in the same boat - dunno what to with Raines.

I have the following backline:
Goddard, C.Cornes, Houlihan, Melceski, Raines, S.Hill, Mackie, Broughton (Bench) & Broadbent (Bench)

Both my bench players didn't play last week so I'm not sure whether to:
a)Trade Raines for say an S.Gilbert (similar $)
b)Keep Raines, move him to the bench and move either Broadbent or Broughton to play (the other as Emergency)
c)Move Raines to bench and trade either Broadbent or Broughton for another rookie like Petrenko or Cheny or Hurely (and have the other as Emergency).

I'm unsure if my bench players will get selected this week though.  May have to wait until the team lists are out and then make a decision.
If they do I may take option b).

I think Raines will return to his expected form - but it depends on if and when.....

everyone who posts a comment about what theyre doing with raines has a different idea. i had petrenko on the bench this week, so i think i'll put him on the ground and have suckling, my other bench player, as emergency and keep raines. then i can make sure that sum1 like cheney didnt have just a one off week and then bring him in next week, before the prices go up.

Then this trade would allow for Cousins trade for Ablett

im waiting this week, ive got petrenko to cover raines, however i have to have either broughton or hill on the field but il giv em a chance, and wait to see who out of cheyney, hurley, petterd and sam gilbert looks like the most suitable trade for raines, and by then there should be an update to how he is going. dont waste ur trades just yet its week 2
