I think all my tinkering is over (unless injuries somehow occur).

Backs: Hodge, Cornes, Adcock, Malceski, Houlihan, Raines, Hill (Suban, Cheney)

Mids: Ablett, Bartel, Judd, Masten, Higgins, Rich (Otten, Beams)..mite change Beams to Anthony or Mitch Robinson..

Rucks: Cox, Hille (Spencer, Jacobs)

Forwards: Harvey, Pavlich, Deledio, Hall, Skipworth, Krakouer, Hentschel (M.Brown, Walker)

Masten, Malceski and Hall are my unique players that will hopefully set me apart from the rest (in a good way). Hall is risky but he is in a lot better shape this year than last year, both physically and mentally.

Silence is golden.

I sense everyone is copying my team.

A TEAM

hahaha adcock houlihan hall haha give us a spell

hodge, abblett, cox and harvey cost the most in their respected posiions... no up side in  25% of ya team

Al

The reason they cost the most is because they score the most points. They can still go up in price and play to their value.

Not every player can be a cash cow.

tails277

No the reason why they cost the most is they scored the most points last season..... To maintain their price they need to have as good of year as last year....  Ill back my 13 million $ team in over your 11 million $ team at the end of the year anytime.

Al

Well that doesn't make any sense.

Lets say instead I have Goddard, Goodes, McIntosh and J.Brown.

They all still have to get as many points as last year to maintain their price.

I don't understand how that could escape you. Unless your entire team consists of players under 400,000.

take a look at player who had injuries last year..... for the 20 super coach extra that ablett gets over cousins each week,  i would much preferr to pay 450k compared to 700k for ablett.....   That 250k would be able to be spent on turning raines or higgins into a kane cornes..... This game i all about finding value and their is no value in hodge, abblett, cox and harvey,  just my veiw...

Al

Fair enough if thats your view.

Though the fact is with Gablett you know you are getting quality. With Cousins how do you know that he is still at the same level he once set? Its a risk and in my opinion by paying a bit more I will get more consistently.

Also, by having these players now I can use my trades on injuries and other players, as opposed to waiting for a price drop from one of them.

Banzai-

Very nice team.

My biggest problem with it is the low number of 'keepers'.  Best case scenario has Adcock AND Malceski both recapturing old form and even then you only have 13.  That's a minimum of 9 players you would want to upgrade, which factoring in injuries, would mean you would have to be VERY careful with trades throughout the year.

Structure issues aside all your player choices seem good.

Al

My keepers will probably be (if everything goes to plan, which it never does):

Hodge, Cornes, Adcock, Malceski, Houlihan, Hill

Ablett, Bartel, Judd, Masten, Higgins

Cox, Hille

Harvey, Pavlich, Deledio, Hall, Skipworth, Krakouer

I think most of them, maybe except Hill, will average a minimum of 75. Of course, some of them won't so they might be gone.
