Bonus Point?

I would really like to see AFL add this factor to our game. The Bonus Point. It create more depth in our game and split teams. Maybe if they score over 105 Points they get a bonus point?

No because what if there is  low scoring team and a high scoring team and they meet in round 22 both unbeaten with high scoring team having 21 extra points and low scoring 5 and then the low scoring team wins and is unbeaten but not on the top of the ladder? Seems quite unfair to me.

They've played with the scoring system in the pre-season games and I don't think it has really worked. The super-goal isn't a BAD idea, but to be honest I wouldn't want the league to play with the scoring system. Surely SOME things should be sacred.

I hate the supergoals. I think it's stupid a player can kick a footy from the 50 arc and get 9 points and a guy can mark 49 out and kick from 55+ and get only 6.

Say you get 6 points for a win, and 1 point for each quarter you win. Would make blowouts like ANZAC day more interesting.

Leave it as it is. The league have bigger fish to fry. There is nothing wrong with the points and scoring systems as they are. Consider this, your team has to win to get the double chance, which they do but lose two or three quarters and therefor miss the double chance on points, You'd be pissed wouldn't you?
