Guys,

Need some help with trades this week.  I have around 260k cashola, and looking at the following trades -

1. Watson (389) to Swan (470) (figure best time is now to pick him up)
2. Roughead (282) to Didak (387) (seeing his down a fair bit, but also considering Goodesy/Pav/O'keefe (others?)

Roughy killed me last week, you reckon i should hang on to him or pull the trigger?? he looked pretty average in that game..

Plus i have mitchell prob with a donut again this week so maybe nows the time for a couple of trades you reckon?

Let me know what you think, or any other suggestions would be awesome

Cheers!

roughie out for someone, i think pav would be more likely
i think getting swan just means you have the same team as everyone else, id pick stanton over him any day.. great form, great player, less popular
there are a lot of good 380-430k mids atm, should look into them

what is your whole team to see if there is a better option?

Thanks guys my team is:

hodge, carazzo, enright, malceski, waters, maguire, silvagni (hunt, hams)

bartel, dal, barlow, watson, jack, mitchell, (shuey, banner)

sandi, hille, (warnock, lobbe)

brown, gia, higgins, brennan, balla, roughie, pods (gumby, danger)

Spooners, i was also looking into gibbs, but my gut still says swan, dont want to take a risk on stanton...

i would look at your backline first, their seem to be a lot of cash cows there that good do with some upgrading, could do with a straight swap of like a hunt to hargrave and then maybe look at watson or roughie after that

Can't see any sense in trading your cash cows this rd.
Also, can't see the point of sideways watson and swan.

i would leave watson alone for the moment u have more important things to worry about. according to another thread mitchel said on a radio show today that he was unlikely to play this week again. So with that in mind... if u already have 260k i would be looking to downgrade hunt on ure bench to someone like P davis(although u have already missed the boat) or even roberton from freo.. he has only played one game so far so you won;t see an increase in price for another 2 but if he is named this week.. could be a good option. Then i would look to upgrade banner with ure 260k +  what u make off the hunt downgrade.
u might have 360k or so and could upgrade banner to montagna/swan or anyone under and save some cash.

alternatively if u are willing to cop the donut this week ure bacline needs more attention in which case i would still downgrade hunt this week and next week u could perhaps upgrade one of silvagni and maguire/waters and do the other upgrade this week....

So there u go food for thought :P

stantons not a risk...

stanton for a unique pick (not many teams have him, will still avg over 100)

swan like everyone else (prob will avg same as stanton) but has more proven DT scores

i wuld be reluctant to be so keen on swan, he hasnt done much to show me that he wuld be a must to bring into the team
plus im with exlam watson -> swan is too sideways, look at upgrading and keeping watto, he can score 100s consistently
roughy is gona be a roughy, culd be one of those 40 one week 140 the next type players, and think he did play on fletcher on the weekend n looked sore from the ruck the week before, against the eagles he will probably line up against mackenzie as glass shud goto buddy, so think he wuld kick a bag.
i would look to upgrade maguire or silvagni 1st then look for cover for mitchell this week...trust me he wont play, unless hawks really want the win (they wont fly a semi-injured mitchell-particularly with a bung hammy-over to perth to play an out of form, young west coast midfield)
