Rory Thompson, Rex Liddy and Hamish Watts went to my school, and Luke Russell and Trent McKenzie (I think) are currently at my school now. :D

Rest of the current squad is here:

So it's an "old school" team - like Geelong and the Dees?

Kazahkstan

I suppose you could say that. Obviously the list will change throughout the year, but I would still like to see some of the guys from my school at the club I will be following.

Alex7089

I thought you barracked for freo Kazakhstan? Why the change?

Congrats Kazahkstan! You are the first GC supporter I know of who isn't (presumably) being paid by the club!

Pav29

How will a team that young even have a chance against an experienced team.

Haha, I've been a Brisbane supporter for the past however many years, but I live on the Coast and will be favouring them over the Lions next year.

I might have said something positive about a couple of Freo players or something, otherwise I have no idea where you got that from.

@ossie: I know people in high places.

@Pav: Surely the idea of having a young team is to expose potential talents through the TAC Cup/VFL, then to trade some of them off to lure in experienced players. There's also the crazy number of draft picks we have this in the draft, which could also be exchanged.
