What is a tackle????

Yeah that is definitely a good question, and also doesn't it make a diff at what the score board says, time it happened, where on the field, and if the tackle wasn't made and resulted in a goal and all that jazz?

I've wondered this alot myself, as the tackle count on things like Game Day Live never really seems to add up in a game to the amount of tackles I see applied by players.
