Cruel for the Hawks to be cut short by a captain tagged then hurt for a second week in a row, and they weren't quite enough to valiantly prevail again. They showed a lot of promise to finish fourth and could've easily been better, but Carolina showed why they've been up the top all season with a strong score in spite of 2 x 30s and 4 x 50s, and without any outlier huge scores to bridge the gap (they did have 3 x 130s though). Carolina move on to a home preliminary final next week, while the Hawks will have plenty of hope for a strong 2024.
