Boston didn't even tank this one, they just laid most of an egg in spite of Laird and Tex heroics. The last five scores on the Terrier teamsheet reading 50, 47, 52, 47, 41 is not good viewing, especially since they'll all guns (especially Chayce). Quito have done their part, now they just need two of Ottawa, NBH and Colorado to hold up their end of the bargain (by losing).

Big let-off for Carolina, as they let Anaheim take it right up to them only to fall a bit short. Are we sure Luke Cleary and Ryan Gardner were the best D3 and D4 Anaheim could've picked though? :thinking: At least KB won't have to deal with Cotchin's shower for much longer.

San Francisco Grizzlies 16.12.108 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 19.8.122
(Real: 1614 vs 1834)
And that's NBH's finals spot booked with a strong showing - six tons from six in the middle more than makes up for one of Daicos' worst showings of the season.

Colorado Avalanche 18.10.118 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 21.10.136
(Real: 1766 vs 2033)
Colorado's players put a pretty good foot forward in their wish to play finals, but were in the end no match for the Sinners preparing for a hattrick tilt. An improved season for Colorado, and they possibly would've made finals if they had a coach at the wheel.

Chicago Sharks 15.9.99 lost to Houston Bombers 17.9.111

A season to forget for both of these teams, but at least one of them can end it on a high note.

Otts miss finals too, sad day for the competition - but a happy day for Quito. They've proven they can compete this season, so hopefully in 2024 they can push even further.
