Houston Bombers 17.9.111 lost to Ottawa Otters 17.10.112
(Real: 1669 vs 1682)
Definitely a tight one, with an improving Houston (although naming DBJ is almost grounds for tanking) just falling short in a game Ottawa really needed to win for their finals stocks. Expected but still heartbreaking for the Bombers.

New Brooklyn Hawks 17.11.113 lost to Colorado Avalanche 17.12.114
(Real: 1701 vs 1709)
Two games, two one-point pippings as Colorado steal yet another one - how does Koop keep getting away with it? Papley 26, Cripps 58x1.5, and Steele 52 probably.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.9.111 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 17.14.116
(Real: 1661 vs 1737)
If we thought San Francisco beating Wisconsin was a bad loss for the Cocks, this one would've made Urbs shoot up a school. Fortunately they got home with a bit of wriggle room, but Anaheim actually looked like a competent (fantasy) football team this week, a far cry from how they looked when the spoon was in contention...

Boston Terriers 21.11.137 defeated Las Vegas Sinners 19.10.124
(Real: 2053 vs 1858)
A respectable output from the Sinners, but they were never getting too close to a rampaging Boston side packed with Laird's 156 as C, Choccy's 144 as VC, and a lazy double ton in there as well. The lesson? Don't go up against Boston when Crom play a WAFL side...which they do again in the Grand Final round...premiership favourites if they can get that far?

Quito Quetzals 19.12.126 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 18.7.115
(Real: 1892 vs 1731)
San Francisco and Anaheim posting semi-competitive scores in the same week?? Not going to beat an on-form Quito desperately needing to bank Wins for finals, however.

Carolina Panthers 14.20.104 lost to Chicago Sharks 16.10.106
(Real: 1564 vs 1593)
Chicago sure did pick a great week to play Carolina, as even without Clarry they power to a tight, low-scoring victory. Big problems at Carolina though, as they lose to 9th-placed Chicago and would've lost by even more to Anaheim and San Francisco. They'll turn it around. Probably.
