Wisconsin Cockerels 18.12.120 lost to Colorado Avalanche 19.7.121
(Real: 1797 vs 1804)

We will NEVER see an upset this huge in ASC ever again. Has Colorado had a weekly score above Wisconsin in the last many years? Would be hard pressed to find one, but they manage to do it on the road here in spite of Scrimshaw's early injury today. Wisconsin were unfortunately missing both Shuey and Darcy today, and had one of them played (especially Darcy) they surely would've won. Touk's 76 as captain underwhelmed, and a large part of their team scored below average; Dylan Moore didn't but if CD didn't hate him and give him the points he deserved Wisconsin win this match. As for Colorado, they strived through the Scrimshaw adversity with plenty of match winners, from the expected such as CCs Rowell and Walsh to the unexpected like U3 Fort and sub Schoenberg. A deserved win, in spite of Wisconsin's shortfalls this week, and hopefully a sign of things to come for the Avalanche.

Las Vegas Sinners 20.8.128 defeated Carolina Panthers 16.12.108
(Real: 1924 vs 1617)

This match promised plenty, given Carolina's hot start to the season and up against the reigning premiers. But one team turned up, on the back of Tim English's 152 and plenty of other tons, while the other had a day to forget in spite of having 6 tons, with an un-Carolina like 7 players failing to reach 70, highlighted by Roarke Smith's 31 still managing to outscore their sub.

Quito Quetzals 16.15.111 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 15.18.108
(Real: 1664 vs 1619)

Actual bruh moment in a game. Lewis 34, Davies 26, Reeves 29 vs Edwards 38, Soldo 20, Ryan 16 - Saad being out was literally the difference and I demand and am awarded compo. Both teams were helped to somewhat serviceable scores by a pair of 120+ scorers, one for each as a C or CC, and it would've been enough for both to beat Carolina but unfortunately only one of these teams gets the W.

Houston Bombers 18.11.119 defeated Boston Terriers 15.17.107
(Real: 1784 vs 1600)

Another big upset for the round, with the ladder leading Terriers convincingly beaten by a Bombers side that is flying under the radar (get it?). The troubles start and end up forward for Boston, with the line combining for 168 this week pre-sub thanks to Jack Martin sending them back 6 points (imagine if they were at home). Bailey, Hunter, Wines, Sinclair and Taylor played their parts in the win, while Boston had their C and VC just about on the money but not much else.

Ottawa Otters 16.11.107 lost to Chicago Sharks 18.11.119
(Real: 1598 vs 1778)

Not the best day for Ottawa (they save that for me), but Chicago could've made this much worse, failing to crack 120/1800SC in spite of a 146 as captain and a 150+ score with minimal mega potatoes - but they'll take the win and a healthy percentage boost. Five scores under 50 did it for Ottawa (insert pic of Nige as Mel Gibson and me as blood-covered Jesus).

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 16.10.106 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 17.11.113
(Real: 1590 vs 1699)

Not the most convincing win by the Hawks, but they do enough to go to 2-1 and keep their spot in the 6. NBH were pretty poor overall tbh, but their midfield started with 121x1.75, 119x1.75, 116, 131 which is always tasty, plus the highest scoring player of the round at U3 is nice and handy. Anaheim picked the right C (133) and VC (115), but those were their only tons as they were crippled by plenty of 50s (5 of them) and a 21 - two of them turn it around and they get a W.
