Post Round 18 Trades

Mission 1: Get through the week without injuries and Hurn returns.

Mission 2: Finally trade out Brayshaw until Goodwin decides on a role for him and Gus decides to play hard like he used to.

When I trade out Brayshaw I can pick up anyone as my final mid - I am thinking of Taranto or Gaff - might have to look at their opponents over the next several weeks.  Unlikely that Taranto gets tagged I guess.

Still doesn't look like time to bring Gawn back in yet so thinking …

Lycett --> Whitfield (via Boak M/F DPP)
Sicily --> Miller (via Whitfield D/M DPP)

leaves M7/M8 a bit weak (Murphy/Miller) but still some cash for next rd without having to downgrade rooks but hopefully still strengthens the team on-field??

Epic fail last week by bringing Cripps in, do I correct and trade him to Zerrett (Snelling my last on field rookie) or do I trade Hately to Higgins then slowly upgrade guys like Cripps to round out the season?  Am I making the same mistake again by bringing in a cheaper option?  Ideally I'd bring in Greene or Adams, but can't quite get the cash to one of them.

Mine was a worse trade mate. Went Bonts to Cripps with the doubt over Bonts last week. Think i'll worry about Sicily this week and see how Cripps goes. My last few weeks of trades have been shockers

Not sure who your other mids are but the priority should be getting rookies off the field. At worst Cripps will score the same as them and at best he will go with a big 100+.

Not sure who your other mids are but the priority should be getting rookies off the field. At worst Cripps will score the same as them and at best he will go with a big 100+.

Yeah I agree, my other mids are Macrae, Gaff, Rocky, Treloar, Brouch, Duncan.  Next week I'll start upgrading any on field players.

Even with Hurn out this week I have taken the plunge and finally traded out Brayshaw.

Hurn to Salem and Brayshaw to Gaff.

Won't give me much cash to play with next week - but I feel like I am getting rid of some dead weight in Hurn and Brayshaw.

So watch for Brayshaw to score 130 this week as I finally dump him..... ::)

Thought of anyone else instead of gaff, he needs 30+ to get over 100, someone like Duncan who takes marks, tackles etc could be a pod and has a higher ceiling

Do I go Chol to Hayden Mclean or trade Fort to Hayden Mclean and DPP Chol for ruck cover? Have Grundy and O'Brien currently.
