2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

The facts & thoughts:

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 100, 112, 168 (127 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 122, 99, 110 (110 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 110, 126 (118 avg)

Grundy's got through the matches against a few teams he doesn't like to play. Against the Eagles, he should be good again this week. Prediction - 120

Zach Merrett
Last 3: 57, 102, 105 (88 avg)
Last 3 against North: 143, 106, 96 (115 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 102, 99, 125 (109 avg)

Merrett's recent form hasn't been great but he smashed the Roos last time he played them and should bounce back. Prediction - 115

Stephen Coniglio
Last 3: 146, 112, 116 (125 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 108, 111, 90 (103 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 69, 76, 135 (93 avg)

Despite a sore knee for half the match, Cogs still managed a 146 last week. His recent form is great and the Tigers have no issues giving up big scores. Prediction - 130

Lachie Whitfield
Last 3: 74, 120, 190 (128 avg)
Last 3 against Richmond: 162, 150, 53 (122 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 120, 51, 123 (98 avg)

If Whitfield is 100% fit, he's an incredible option this week. His last two against the Tigers have been massive. Prediction - 135

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 106, 135, 180 (140 avg)
Last 3 against Melbourne: 133, 107, 84 (108 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 106, 180, 140 (142 avg)

Macrae's good form should continue this week as he's back under the roof against the Dees. Prediction - 130

Max Gawn
Last 3: 50, 129, 148 (109 avg)
Last 3 against Bulldogs: 108, 141, 59 (103 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 141, 111, 135 (129 avg)

Max against the Tim English is a match made in heaven... assuming Max is fit. I'd wait for news on his fitness as late as possible but a great pick if he's good to go. Prediction - 130

Lachie Neale
Last 3: 134, 122, 79 (112 avg)
Last 3 against Port: 135, 92, 100 (109 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 100, 60, 97 (86 avg)

Neale smashed the Power in their last matchup and looks to be back in great form too. Should be good this week. Prediction - 130

LAHUG'S POD!

Rory Sloane
Last 3: 86, 108, 109 (101 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 125, 132, 106 (121 avg)
Last 3 at Metricon: 132, 106, 67 (102 avg)

Sloane's form leaves much to be admired but he's up against the 18th placed Suns this week. He loves to play them and mids have been smashing them all year. Potential - 130+

The verdict:
1.   Lachie Whitfield (135)
2.   Jack Macrae (130)
3.   Lachie Neale (130)
4.   Max Gawn (130)
5.   Stephen Coniglio (130)

I'd assume Scheer goes to Sloane so halve that prediction?  :-X

Hasn't Sloane been handling tags well this season?

Nope, I've had Sloane in SC and he's been excellent, but still has average games when he cops the tag.

He's been tagged twice for averages of 81.5 DT and 90.5 SC, small sample size but pretty good compared to what he used to be.

LaHug

Both Gaff's and Danger's numbers looked pretty poor this week so I left them out.

Tom Rockliff averages 60.5 from 2 starts against Brisbane, any cause for concern?
