Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

We have a partial lockout this week for the Essendon vs. GWS game which means we can use the CAPTAINS LOOPHOLE!

How it works:

1.   Select a player from the Bombers or Giants as your VICE CAPTAIN.
2.   For now, set your captain to someone worthy of captaincy in another game in case you forget to change it.
3.   IF your VC scores really well, sub a non-playing player onto the field and set them as captain.
4.   Make sure you have an emergency in the position of your non-playing captain!

The facts & thoughts:

Josh Kelly
Last 3: 148, 128, 140 (139 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 93, 159, 85 (112 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 153, 110, 107 (123 avg)

One of the better VC choices based on his huge scoring this season, Kelly comes with a bit of a risk this week. Dylan Clarke has done a very good job tagging the last few weeks and may target Josh this week. If he does, at least it's only the VC. Prediction - 110

Stephen Coniglio
Last 3: 116, 90, 192 (133 avg)
Last 3 against Essendon: 161, 123, 120 (135 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 144, 112, 88 (115 avg)

Cogs probably won't get tagged because of Kelly (and potentially Whitfield if fit) getting the attention. I strongly regret trading him out when he got injured and I think he'll go HUGE this week. Prediction - 140

Patrick Dangerfield
Last 3: 110, 162, 108 (127 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 132, 151, 121 (135 avg)
Last 3 at Kardinia: 108, 88, 138 (111 avg)

Danger loves playing his old team. He's as safe as they come this week. Prediction - 130

Andrew Gaff
Last 3: 92, 91, 123 (102 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 154, 88, 115 (119 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 97, 109, 99 (102 avg)

Gaff is proving to be taggable at the moment and now I'm hesitating on trading him into my team. The Hawks aren't typically tagging opposition mids but Cousins could get a job if they think it's worth slowing him. Prediction - 115

Jake Lloyd
Last 3: 109, 149, 129 (129 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 73, 88, 89 (83 avg)
Last 3 at SCG: 109, 149, 105 (121 avg)

Lloyd is typically poor against the Suns. I can't fathom why except maybe the ball never entering Sydney's backline? I'd stay away based on the numbers. Prediction - 90

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 168, 95, 112 (125 avg)
Last 3 against North: 104, 103, 82 (96 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 168, 99, 89 (119 avg)

Grundy is worse against Goldstein than most other rucks and that's why, despite his big score last week, I'm not backing Brodie this week. Prediction - 105

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 180, 140, 69 (130 avg)
Last 3 against Port: 112, 44, 149 (102 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 44, 144, 103 (97 avg)

Macrae is well and truly back to his best. Backed up a 140 with a massive 180 and, from what I saw of the game, was involved in every single play by the Dogs. If he keeps this up, he's a great captain choice for the rest of the year. Prediction - 125

Max Gawn
Last 3: 129, 148, 126 (134 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 78, 65, 47 (63 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 111, 78, 58 (82 avg)

I said Grundy was bad against Goldy but Gawn vs. Stef Martin is even worse. He just doesn't perform in this match up and I'd stay far away this week. Prediction - 80

LAHUG'S POD!

Luke Parker
Last 3: 157, 112, 115 (128 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 119, 117, 121 (119 avg)
Last 3 at SCG: 157, 112, 107 (125 avg)

JPK back didn't slow Parker... it pushed him to greater heights! Best mid against the leaky Suns? Huge POD this week. Potential - 150

The verdict:
1.   Stephen Coniglio (140)
2.   Patrick Dangerfield (130)
3.   Jack Macrae (125)

Expecting monster scores from a bunch of guys this week. Reckon I'll take J. Kelly into Dunkley, heavily regretting giving Macrae the flick on his bye after suffering through his mediocre start to the year.

I not only got rid of Macrae in AF but I brought in Rocky just before the byes and held him the whole way through... At least I have Dunkley too :P

I've got the VC on Merrett as he's all I've got playing Thursday and I'll be using Danger if he fails. At least in DT I can go Danger into someone...

Chelskiman

Kelly into Danger I think for AF.  In RDT I'll throw the VC on Danger and then go from there.
