Moscow Rise; Cape Town sink

A devastating last month for Cape Town sees them miss out on a finals series that really looked like would eventuate for a time there. Toby Nankervis injury absolutely killed them, reminding teams that we're all vulnerable. I reckon 2020 is the year. Farewell Cobras!

For Moscow, yep, they don't have the best form-line. But, they've done it; they've made finals! That is a great achievement, and they will pose a much greater threat when one Sam Docherty returns. But, dare to dream I say!

Rio ravage Revolution

The Revolution should be proud of that performance; a HGA of 61 is a great outcome, and with nothing to play for, they would have troubled the average team this week. But, Rio clearly had a point to prove a finals spot to consolidate. A huge performance from Rio, and will go into finals with great momentum! But for now, we say goodbye to New York, who have now completed year 1 of the rebuild.

It's been a shockin year for the Reindeers, who need some quality D3s, M3s, F3s and a playing ruck before doing anything serious. For Christchurch, the challenge is MUCH greater. A great win from London, and really what a great final month! They have won each of the last 4 matches to double their 2018 tally. This year was a serious step forward, and London will be looking for the same result next year. Just another 2 wins until finals!

The Dillos won only 1 of their last 7, indicating that they are still very much a young team. But the hard work has already been done I reckon, they have the list, just need the time. But that won't stop iZ going hard at the trade period. Early 2020 tip, Dillos to make finals!

Suns glass Sands

The Sands claimed so many big teams this year, but have an uncanny ability to lose to teams that for the most part, score sub-130 this year. Lucky there isn't any of those from now on, I suppose! Still, they just needed to beat either London or the Suns to finish top 4, and they let it slip. Hard to swallow, but finals is still a great result, and they should be proud!

The Suns finished the year in sensational fashion, with 4 wins coming out of the last 6 matches. The Suns are building towards something... is this deja vu? God, surely not. I look forward to see what you do over the off-season and beyond! Good luck Mexico City!
