So I guess it all starts again hey!

This is my first attempt, I just quickly read up on rookies for the year, so if there is any obvious rookie that'll almost certainly play round one, then please enlighten me! :)

Anywho, any thoughts on the team will be greatly appreciated!

Backs: Jake Lloyd, Rory Laird, Lachy Whitfield, Connor Rozee, Sam Collins, Issac Quaynor (Marty Hore, Harrison Wigg)

Midfield: Jackson Macrae, Patrick Cripps, Josh Kelly, Dylan Shiel, Aaron Hall, Bailey Smith, Liam Stocker, Charlie Constable (Jackson Hatley, Luke Valente, Nick Hind)

Rucks: Max Gawn, Sam Jacobs (Patrick Bines)

Fowards: Patrick Dangerfield, Devon Smith, Jordan De Goey, Toby Greene, Nick Blakey, Will Setterfield (Ben Cavarra, Ian Hill)

Got about $70k left.

From what I can see, the only think I don't like is the four players coming from Carlton and and the Western Bulldogs in my midfield!

Not too sure about Jacobs and De Goey, but apart from that a very nice team.
I like the Hall pick.

It's a good spread, but you're carrying a lot of risk with all of Shiel, Hall, De Goey and Greene. I'd move on Shiel and De Goey to more proven players, don't think these two will be great breakout candidates anyway. De Goey will still spend a lot of time forward and Shiel has only averaged over 100 once in his career.

Too many points to go around in the pies side to start JDG IMO. Don't mind the Hall pick, could go well at the Roos. Don't like Sauce though, had a shocking year last year, would go Stef/Goldy/Kreuzer instead.

Shiel, Hall and DeGoey are all very risky.

Shiel and Hall won’t be top 10 mids imo and at that price I would want them to become keepers.

De Goey could be a handy pick but as others have said Pendles, Beams, Treloar, Adams and Sidebum are all going to be taking points off him.

Ringo

As has been said too many points to be shared amonst Pies. Watch Halls role at the Kangas as if attacking definite POD as his defence is really slack.
Love the structure but also would prefer Grundy to Gawn but your choice.

Appreciate all the advice!

Most of those picks mentioned (JDG+Sauce) were fill ins whilst i thought of a player for each spot.

Although i'm all about the Aaron Hall pick, I've been wanting Miles since he went to the GC. So I swapped the two.

Shiel>Merrett (If healthy)
Jacobs>Goldstein
JDG>Charlie Cameron

I'm intrigued by Cameron. If he plays midfield, definitley think it's worth a look.

Nice trades, Cameron is very interesting and definitely one to watch in JLT.

Good moves. Cameron is interesting but as said could be a nice pod if he does in fact play more midfield.
