richmond have been no good for years, get high picks and do the wrong things with them and they do better at other clubs, and they plain and simple pick the wrong players. they might finally have a decent bunch of players coming through now though. Cotchin, Deledio and Martin culd be a potent midfield in 2 years time. But they just need to work on other areas, like Jack Riewoldtd goal kicking, a second tall forward that isnt Mitch Morton, a replacement for Bowden.etc..

not to mention either trade for or draft a ruckman to replace simmonds. they traded out pattison and all they have left is graham and browne to back simmonds up.
