Everyone seen Sheahan's top 50??

Total joke in my opinion...how is Scarlett number 9! He is way past his best and never even takes the best forward as Mackie or Taylor always takes the big guns. Also Bret Deledio number 41!?! He should at least be inside the top 25- he will win a brownlow in the nest few years. They are just a few problems in his top 50 IMO. I know it's just a guys opinion but how is Sheahan considered an expert- baffling.

I think your looking at last years top 50- this year J Brown is at 7, Glass is at 21 and Lucas doesn't get a gig in the top 50 this year

Jono Brown wasn't number 1, I think you're looking at last year...

Darren Glass wouldn't be in my top 100 let alone at #21.

i disagree with fev, j. brown, scarlett, glass, morris, roughy. they seem to high ranked for my liking

I think Bryce Gibbs should be higher than 50... say... 37 or so

Umm Scarlett is too high...

Fevola is about right I think.. He should be in the top 10.

Deledio is underated. He should easily be Top 25.

is this bloke seriously saying that c. rioli is in the top 50 afl players ?  he's seriously got hold of himself - no m murphy, D Hille, stanton, b green,  salopek, cassisi, hayes, emberly etc etc etc. This bloke is "FITH'

First thing to realise is that it is more of a forecast than a current rating. He is not saying Cyril Rioli was better than those guys last year, he is saying he thinks Cyril will have a bigger impact this year (admittedly he must expect quite a lot of improvement from the lad).

However what I think discredits Sheahan is that Adam Cooney was not ranked inside his top 50 in 2008. So they guy who was rated as the fairest and best player of 2008 was not expected to be in the top 50 in terms of impact, skill etc.

I've noticed in previous years his list does hold onto the past a bit too much. In 2008 Kerr was ranked 6th despite Sheahan knowing Judd Cousins etc weren't playing. He is now 19th which is probably still a bit high.
Scarlett at 10th is silly, Glass at 21st is even stupider, where is Rutten (in my opinion definitely in the top 3 full backs of the comp)?. J. Brown is a tad high, but the rest of the top 10 is good.

TJALLSTARS, perhaps you are mistaking dream team rankings for player ranking because if you think Glass isn't top 100 you have NFI.
