Wouldn't say that, its much rarer for a player to be dropped from the field than the bench.
You are right it's rare but some people think that fringe players named on the field are 100% going to play , not always the case

Atrocious conditions in Melbourne today watching the VFL match between Sandringham and Williamstown stoppage after stoppage haha barely resembles football , the MCG will offer more protection but it does not look like a day for the big men
