Cerra was BOG and Cox gets the nom? Odd.

Cerra was at halfback where its easier to get a possession.  Cox was taking strong contested marks and providing a focal point up forward - along with 4 goals.

Considering this guy kicked 4 goals 11 last year, the improvement in his goal kicking and performance is enough for me to agree with the decision to give him the rising star nomination. 

Don't get me wrong, I thought Cerra played his best game for the club and would be a worthy winner but happy that a non-midfielder has been given the recognition this week.
