I'm gonna start cracking down on these late and unacceptable submissions.

While I understand and appreciate people being busy, please try and find some time to name your teams and name them properly.

On that note, there are Thursday night games for another two weeks, which means two more partial lockouts for us. As a result I strongly advise:
- Check teams for Thursday games on Wednesday night (6:25pm eastern) and maybe name your full team then, shouldn't take your more than 5 mins.
- Check on Thursday night (6:25pm eastern) when the rest of the teams comes out. If you've already named a side, fixing any ins/outs should take no more than 5 mins.
- Check one last time for Sunday benches after 5pm before the bounce of the Friday night game..

I understand this isn't always possible, but please try and find the time. This plea comes as a result of observing team naming habits of every coach over the course of the season, so it's largely general, but there are repeat offenders.

It's really unfair to your own team, as well as the comp if you don't name a side properly and it suffers as a result. I don't like enforcing penalties, because they can impact on results, but if it comes to that I will.



Atto and RGriff are both receiving warnings for late submissions.

Both are bottom 4, along with myself and Barra, and it really isn't fair to us when all teams are level on points and percentages are close, especially Barra's El Paso who are playing Atto's Dallas (who is last and probably would lose to a full strength or properly named Dallas).

As I see it, RGriff's submission is more acceptable than Atto's because he's omitted any players who already played their AFL games.

Atto's on the other hand, is in no way acceptable, and if anyone else names a team like that in future, expect a warning and consequences for repeat offences.



I'd really like for this comp to maintain some integrity, so please abide by the rules and follow through on your minimal commitments as a coach. I'm always around to speak to if there are issues (PM, Discord or whatever). If you have a late submission or something, if you do what RGriff did and omit players already played, I'll likely be lenient and let it pass, but try not to let that happen. If there's a non-submission or late submission for whatever, an accompanying reason (and apology) would be fair. This can be done in PM or publicly, I'll acknowledge it either way.

We have a really good and even comp here with good coaches and I'd like to keep that standard, so please do what you can to contribute to that.
