Only $26,500 more than Crouch but a better Bye.

I already have 6 Premos (plus T.Kelly and Doedee) out in R14 :S

I think oliver has more cash to lose from memory. I could b wrong though

With people either finishing their midfield with this selection or at least looking to hold Tim Kelly for awhile still, does losing cash really come into it?

If you pick Crouch, you're picking him for the rest of the season. Likewise with Oliver. It is only 26k between them, so really not much at all.

Personally, I prefer Oliver considering his favourable bye.

Losing cash comes into it if you're hoping for a discount before u bring them in.
But seeing as their BEs are 96 and 120 neither should drop/increase by much anyway.
Id go Oliver over Crouch if I had to choose, but I already have him.

Assuming people looking at this trade have Tim Kelly + Rookie as their M7 & M8 currently, it is likely they are replacing the rookie at M8 with Oliver/Crouch/Neale/JPK and then planning to keep Tim Kelly until the byes (at least) if he continues his current form while they upgrade other rookies.

If you pick Crouch, then you're also making a decision that you don't want Oliver/Neale/JPK in your side for the next 5 weeks (at least) while Tim Kelly holds down M8 (assuming no injuries).

I personally think Oliver will outscore Crouch over the next 5 weeks and he has a better bye. Just because Crouch is 26k cheaper in this singular week, it shouldn't determine the next 5 weeks of scoring in my team.

I already have Oliver so out of the 3 listed in this thread I would pick M.Crouch easily.

I now have the following midfield -

Fyfe, Cripps, Mitchell, Dusty, Oliver, M.Crouch, Coniglio, T.Kelly

I am mighty happy with that midfield now.  ;D

Going to mainly concentrate on my backs (3 left to upgrade) as I only have 1 rookie left up forward to upgrade now.  8)

If I had to choose one of Crouch or Oliver, it would be Oliver.
