Having Selection troubles... I think a lot will hinge on the round 1 teams.. but just asking for some one name/word answers... or if you feel like explaining your choices that'd be great... Any replies appreciated.

1. Joel Selwood (404k) or Joel Corey (485k)? (Who will average more?)
2. Best Premium Forward Combination - 3 selections. $1,272,000 to spend.
3. Best Ruck (considering points AND value) from Petrie (374k) down.
4. Best Defender - Excluding: Hodge, Bowden, Goddard, Cornes, Lockyer
5. R.Houlihan (244k). Yes or No?
6. D.Mundy (312k). Yes or No?
7. J.Geary (192k). Yes or No?
8. H.Taylor (261k). Yes or No?
9. T.Cloke (334k). Yes or No?
10. N.Krakouer (189k). Yes or No?

cheers! to the others.. please keep the replies coming!

I'm gonna go with Selwood for the $$

At this point, I'm going with Deledio, Gia and N.Brown. But this will probably change numerous times leading up to the lockout.

I guess I'm looking for a ruck that will increase in value in the first 5-6 rounds as I feel Cox's price will have dropped by then. I plan to get Cox.. just not at 473k.

I'm not so sure about Sam Fisher right now, because with Max Hudghton injured AND Matt Maguire still not ready for round 1, he might take on a key defensive role. When they come back I agree with you.

As for the rest... it's so frustrating as there are sooooo many value picks this season and you obviously can't have them all.

wce2009

1. Joel Corey will average more
2. deledio johnson buddy
3. mcintosh
4. fisher
5. yes
6. no
7. no
8. no
9. yes

11. not yet

On Fisher

Remember last year he had no Maguire next to him and Hudghton injured for some games and he still averaged 90. Saints will throw Blake back to take the number 1 forward while the others are out. And there has been talk that Fisher along with goddard will send some time on ball. All in all Fisher will average 90+ again.

Scratchy

1) corey average higher but not by 20 ppg which is what his price suggests
2) s. johnson, pavlich, chapman (if concerned by injury then go n. brown)
3) petrie
4) mackie
5) yes
6) no
7) no
8) no
9) yes, i can't get him but i think he'll pay off
10) yes
11) i think he and beams would both be in the top 5 of first year players (DT potential-wise), but i'm extremely concerned about how many games they'll get. i'm almost thinking get both or neither?

8. preferbly not...
9. better money spent elsewhere...
10. Yes (?) but i didnt...

And that's my two cents.
