Thinking of bringing in a ruck rookie, so I can move English forward, which is the better choice?

McInerney = named to play this week, may get some games throughout the year to make a bit of cash
Flynn (or other R/F) = can easily switch English between forwards and ruck if needed.

im struggling to fit in venables trade at the moment, but have bitten the bullet and just gone for it.

venables > guelfi
o'meara > zerrett.

i know o'meara is more than capable and still has a little more $$ to make, but zerrett is beginning to rise now, and i'd hate to miss the boat.

Noting wrong with those trades

just leaves me with kelly in mid as only rookie on.  Hopefully i can trade him out next week for any 750k player. leaves me with banfield and holman on the bench.

Dose ur defence and forward line need any work? Mids will be looking good if u do those trades but mite be worth looking at a bit of dpp action or even get Seedsman/ Goddard with the intention of swinging then back, Merrett has a Be of 79 so depending how he goes with the short break 1 more week on his mite not be so bad

i went with a strong mid / weak defense strategy and seems to be working at the moment.  Laird and lloyd are my only premos in def, rookies like finlayson, doedee and murray scoring very well.  Im looking at your suggestion and that doesnt seem like a bad idea, maybe seedsman.

Zuthrie to Mirra
Petracca to McLean
is what I went with. Now have Gray, Heeney, McLean, Billings, D.Smith with Crowden the only rookie on field up fwd.
