Also look at Jack Henry on the bubble. Listed as forward but being used across hb by Cats - Had injury first game but 93 last game.
Am looking at him as possible replacement for Ryan if he is out for a lengthy period.
Thanks Ringo.   Might be the go for Ryan replacement.    Any chance Ryan is 2-3 weeks only?
Still waiting on 100% confirmation from the scan results.

Though it's pretty much been accepted that he's fractured/broken his ankle and will miss 6-8.

Think you forgot to bold Barry ;)

I would look at Fogarty --> Coffield via Crowden or Barry --> Coffield.

Think its a bit early to be trading out Holman, only one bad score and it was because he played forward. Up against the Lions this week, provided he holds his spot and is back in the mids, should be back to an 80+.

Goldy --> Grundy just feels like chasing points. Grundy has gotten career best everythings the last couple of weeks, whilst he may go 110ish for the season, I doubt he'll be much better than Goldy in the long term.

Would be looking at Lobb --> Heeney too.

_wato

I'd definitely be holding Goldy mate. Flower Lobb off, probably won't even get up for this week.

Looking at Coff, priced at $171k so he's gonna have to score super to be worth it imo, I'd rather Mirra or Guelfi up forward even though it'd be a week early. Agree that Holman should stay for now, look at moving on Barry imo, despite the lack of cash generation.

Barry > Mirra via Finlayson, move Holman to bench and loophole Murphy if he plays Friday night.

Should just have enough then to go Lobb > Heeney. If not, go the other option of Barry to Guelfi via Garlett swing into the mids, opens up DPP but means you won't be able to afford Heeney I don't think.

To sum it up, I'd be holding Goldy and Holman, look at other alternatives for Coff imo.

Ringo

If Barry not named I would do Barry to Mirra or Guelfi via DPPs and then Lobb to Heeney or other forward you can afford.

Think most of us could do with 4 trades this week.

_wato, Silverlion and Ringo thanks for the feedback.   It is easy to get to close to things and lose perspective.
Only pride stopping me considering Barry as i brought him in Rnd3 (thought he had js).   Also in hindsight I was over committed to Lobb breaking out into that 23-25 yr old break out ruck.

Coffield is expensive and thus impacts cash generation and time to hold.   If I had plenty of cash and time would love to have him as he looked at home in AFL last week.

Lobb>Heeney appeals the most as a Top 3 fwd choice.  spending on Grundy at this peak is the wrong approach to SC as well so thanks for wakeup call.
Warming to Lobb Heeny, miss coffield and consider Barry>Mirra via Finlayson.   Can do it with 1000 left in the bank.

I do get the feeling this is similar to Goldy>Grundy trade.  More sideways than an upgrade and not quite a corrective.   Both options smell of impatience.
