Pepi

Here is my current team.

Defence: Have picked proven premiums who i feel will be top 10 defenders. Started Lloyd last season and he was great until his concussion so will start him again being slightly under priced. Players like Yeo and Hurley i see dropping in value so plan is to get them when they drop a bit. Really liked the look of Coffield and Finlayson so far in JLT. Both have shown good scoring potential and with spots up for grabs in their teams they look likely starters. Keefe is there for his DPP with Sicily which will be handy over the bye's.

Midfield: Have decided not to start Danger!! Yes risky i know, but i feel he is too expensive and can see him dropping 100k+ so will be my first upgrade target. The money saved from this i have been able to bring in Coniglio at M6 and afford some of the more expensive rookies still giving me a strong deep midfield. Bont could explode at any time and champion data love him so lock him in! Cripps is a bit of a gamble but i have been hot on him all pre season. He's made it through his first pre season unscathed and looks the goods being Carton's #1 mid. 110+ could defiantly be on the cards. Pretty happy with rookie selections but we shall see who's named round 1.

Rucks: Probably the hardest line to pick this year i feel. Gawn obviously picks himself, No brainer there. With no real R3 looking likely to get any games it makes R2 that much harder to pick with no real standout. Have decided to go with Goldy on this one. He had a couple of off field issues last season which likely affected him mentally which is understandable. He's been a proven scorer over the years and has more upside over your Jacobs/Grundy types imo. Willing to give him another shot. Olango for loophole purposes as he has the most Sunday games.

Forwards: Have selected Buddy over Heeney atm as i have a rule of not selecting players with limited pre seasons. Both should average similar anyways. McLean has been in my side from day 1. Took over Dahl's role second half of last season and was very impressive. Watching JLT it seems he will be playing that role again and a 90-95 average is very possible. Smith i'm not so sold on just yet, Could become Walters with both of them expected to play through the middle making them very tempting. Now Sicily is probably the biggest steal at $400k. As much as i hate the bloke i have to have him in my side. Looked great in the back line last year and it's pretty much confirmed he will play the same role again. Lock Lock Lock! Have Stephenson at F5 which is a little weak compared to most who have Bundy , but the pies really rate Stephenson and he should play most games. Originally did have O'meara at M6 with Bundy F5 but both have had their injury concerns. O'meara burned me last season so i'd like to avoid that trap again. Although Bundy does look really good atm, unfortunately can't fit him in. West Coast lads basically pick themselves if named.

Have $34,300 remaining. Would love your thoughts and feedback  8)

Money Shot

Heeney had an interupted preseason last year and still scored 100+ I would pick him over buddy who is likely going to be avaible at a cheaper price during the season in a heart beat.

Think Coffied at D4 is a bit weak but apart from that i like your team.

Team would look a little more secure with Christensen at F5 allowing you then to swing Sicily back and forth.
