D6 or M8?

This week i have to finish off D6 or M8.
Defence and Midfield looks like this with 7 trades remaining and 40k in the bank.

Def: Docherty, Laird, Adams, Llyod, Shaw, Stewart. (Sharenburg, Ryan)
Mids: Dangerfield, Sloane, Dusty, JPK, Ablett, Pendlebury, Bont, S Selwood (Mountford, Cousins, Myers)

This week i don’t have enough cash to bring in anyone of Roberton, Hibberd, Rance, Williams for Stewart to finish off D6, so I’m contemplating trading Stewart - Witherden but not comfortable having him as a D6 along with Ryan and Sharenburg.
My other trade for the week was S. Selwood - Merrett which would finish off M8.

So would it be risky having Witherden as D6 and bring in Merrett for Scooter or should i wait till next week and trade Stewart to a Roberton/Hibberd/Rance/Willliams type?

Merrett is very tempting though and with a BE of 73 and his easy run coming up he could be this cheapest all season.
