Hahaha doubt I'll win it fellas. I'm consistently a good rank but apart from 18th 2 years back I've never really been close enough.

Why Stef GL? :P
I considered Sauce two weeks ago, regretting it now but wouldn't go chasing last week's points.

How do you think it's chasing last weeks points? 108 (big boy), 95 (paddy), 110 (leuey?), 61 (witts), 116 (nank), 118 (goldy), 141 (notGawn)

Seems pretty good to me?
Don't forget the 59 against Mummy :)

My only worry is his performances against the better rucks. 59 against Mummy, 95 against Paddy, 61 against Witts (is he a good ruck now iunno) aren't ideal. In saying that, he's beating up against the shower ones which is good. Stef and Sandi the next 2 weeks, so I think we'll have a better idea after round 10 if he is back at his best or not. I assume he has a low af BE this week though, so now is as good a time as any to jump on. Can see him potentially going 110+ from R11 onwards. Definitely on the radar for when I upgrade Sandi.

Yeah that's very fair. Mummy was definitely not good but he played well against Paddy, 95 is around the range. 61 was horrible but apart from Ryder nobody has really scored well against Witts.
Adelaide definitely have a very fair draw and Sauce is getting quite a few possies too. Averaging 10 more hitouts compared to last year.
BE of 51 so it's now or never. I'm thinking I can grab Sauce now and then when Sandi misses Rd 13 I can go him to Stef.

Why not go goldy?

Preuss gone and looking close to 100%

111 107 last 2 rounds.

North had the toughest draw in thr comp team and ruck wise.

He already played jacobs mummy sandi.

Has dees with pedo and then carlton.

Im expecting 100+

If you're keeping Sandilands then you will have both Sandi and Jacobs out with the bye in round 13.

If you plan on upgrading Sandi during this bye then that could actually be a good move. He does have a good average though.

I had Goldy originally Holz but looking over the North forums they seem to think Preuss will be back.
Goldy is honestly the man I wanted but I'm scared off by him as well as Majak coming back into the team and taking points.
I know with sauce that he'll ruck alone.

And yes upgrade Sandi to Stef during his bye.

Seems pretty crazy trading Witts considering how well he is scoring

If he didn't have the bye, you wouldn't do it

Surely you have lower scoring players on field that you'd want to upgrade before Witts

yeah I would keep him if you have nank in the forward line and can cover him.

if not would go Goldy as i reckon he will be a top ruck and is very cheap.

at the start of the season if you said its 60k to go Witts to Goldy, with a fully fit Goldy being the sole ruck coming off 11 against Jacobs and then 107 against Sydney you would take that.

Also trading Witts to avoid a donut (planned).

I was originally thinking Stef... but I just know Adelaide are going to absolutely cream the Lions and Stef will get minced in the ruck.  If I bank on that, I'm better off bringing him in post-bye.

So now I'm thinking I'll swing Nank into the ruck.  I only lose ruck coverage for a week (plans to bring in Ryder) ... won't need it for the bye anyway.

And bring in JJK.. who's going up against the Bombers this week.  R12 bye as well.  Happy days.

But yeah, Sauce looks like he's back to that super-premo form.  I would not hesitate at all bringing him in if my bye structure allowed it.  Goldy has been a passing thought, but Norf's form and the lack of exposed good form is dissuading me.

I'm doing it because it's a good chance to get a leg up on the comp. My forwards are set, my rucks are set for now and my midfield has SPP at M8. Otten is the only guy worth upgrading but I don't have enough funds for the guy I want and Pittard will come in next week for him anyway.

Goldy is just risky as hell. Do you not see Majak and Preuss interrupting his scoring?

Exactly what I'm thinking at the moment.

Nice looking team at this stage of the year mate, was content with my team till I saw it.  :(
Sauce is back to his best after a down season hampered by minor injury and niggles.
I like the move with Martin coming in for Sandi during the byes.
Other options are Goldy, have looked at him also, very cheap for Goldy but I share the same concerns regarding Preus and Majak etc.
Thought's then turned to Grundy but if Cox get's back in that hurts Grundy, Sauce comes risk free as he does it alone basically which voids all the concerns with Goldy/Grundy.

Getting Jacobs looks a good idea but not at the expense of Witts for me , Witts avg. is close to 94 and he good for the other byes I have my eye on Gawn who is now 5 or 6 into a 10 week injury and could be up and about after the byes but everyone's plan are different

batt

Just another FYI, most people shouldn't be too afraid of R13 bye rucks as there aren't any R13 bye forward premiums and you can cover him with Nank.

This is what i'm doing also. Have much bigger issues than Witts sadly so he can wait while scoring ok.
