Thoughts on Bernie Vince @ 422k?

Was in the mix for selection in my team at the start of the year.  Now thinking about bringing him in 75k cheaper as a D6.  All I can afford right now and will really help my side through the byes with dual position status and then plan will be to squeeze him to D7 to use an emergency loophole later in season.  Won't do it if he's likely to keep up this 80 avg.  Thinking he can get back to mid 90s as per last 3 years.  Any advice/opinion on his role this year, why his scores might have dropped off?

I was initially interested too, but his scores have been way off the mark. He's just on my radar but I struggle to see him in my final team at the moment, since there are plenty of defenders scoring reasonably well.

I haven't seen enough of Melbourne this season to say anything intelligent about his role but interested to see what others have picked up watching the dees

Initial thought was he would be playing more in the midfield than off HB this year which hasn't eventuated. He will have some strong 90+ games but also as many sub 70. Id be avoiding him myself.

Tom Mac is only 50k more

hasnt had his big games but a season low of 72. 3 round average of 98 with 109 104 81.
