But worth it if doing a single corrective trade - Say you have cash eft over and EVW still has not played so I would class that as corrective and not a waste of trade as you are bringing in a player who is about to go up in price for a player who is not playing. That is my view on corrective trades and may differ from others.

I normally would leave a bit of cash in the bank for corrective trades for this reason. Say one of the 200k rookies tons up 2 games in a row, you might want to look at them down the track. You keep around 80k in the bank and use it where you can.

With Butler performing (and me not having him), I'm okay starting a few cheaper guys since he is always a sideways option.

So the question remains for us non-Marchbank owners... if he scores well again next week do we need to squeeze him in? What does he need to score next week to be a 'lock'?
.... you didn't have Marchbank ???

In this instance I couldnt agree more. If you have cash left over or you chose Thurlow instead (I think most started with one of Marchbank or Thurlow) and say Thurlow stinks it up for two weeks then why wouldn't you make that trade? A guy priced at 45 and will likely average 75 is not a must, but a bargain
