Haven't posted in any forums this pre season but am staying updated. Hopefully this account can stick and I don't forget my bloody username and password!! Have a look and assess my team any feedback is good!

Team all but set for round 1 pending rookie selections. Very settled with this team. Possibly wont start Myers but just an idea could he be a worthy starter said to be ready for round 5 or 6 thereby saving a trade you'd otherwise make. I'm convinced he'll come straight back into the team when fit, the bombers will want to play him.

Starting salary is $15,200 but if I don't start Myers he'll be a downgrade giving me a it of a buffer for flexibility in trading early. 25k-30k range.

Nice team, I see you've gone with your heart a bit in picking Murphy and Roughy. Not sure Murph can make enough cash to be a cash cow, or average enough to be a keeper, but he's just such a great bloke ;)

You're better off getting Myers later as a downgrade. Butler should play, so u can just move Parfitt to the midfield.

I'm hoping Murphy will finish as D7, think he's underpriced for his scoring potential and helps my structure likewise roughy. Depending on team selections I've got options for Myers - Pickett or Stewart via Hibberd being the main two.

Good team, not to keen on bob myself but if it helps your other lines and you think he'll score 90 odd every week fair enough, good work :)

Thanks bubbles. I have considered downgrading to Marchbank but not too keen on a young KPD despite showing good form. I'm not one to get caught up in a couple of pre season games so I think bob is a safer option with much more point scoring ability and doesn't require a trade down the track.

I disagree but can see why people are picking him. I'd rather fork out the extra 150k but if marchbank remains the same intercept marking like defender he's shown will be worth it I just think he'll be given too many shut down roles to validate his price

Definitely would not start Myers he will stay at $133k till at least Rd 8 assuming he starts Rd 5. By then there should be a rookie ready to milk for cash. You have quite a few options as you say Butler for one.

Another team that needs to be careful with defence trading currently you have 5 out of 6 with Rd 13 bye. Not a major issue but something to keep an eye on.

Cheers Ringo. Just an idea that floated by but he has turned into Butler for now. Will obviously keep toying with rookies to find the right mix just want teams to finally be announced!!
