I know Beams can go 120, but I just can't trust his body so he's out

Murphy I think will have a great year, but again I see him in the 105 range

Swallow and JOM, very tempted, but they're just stepping stones so I figure id rather just start with outright prems and rookies

I'm sure things will change once we see them in JLT though lol

Swallow is the only one I would be tempted by but doesn't fit my structure at the moment.

Then injury prone players like Adams and Rocky.

I'm definitely going Fyfe, Beams, Sandi, Rough, Swallow, JOM, Higgins, Rocky, Adams. So it's really only Elliott that could change, but who is there around $290k up in the forward line? Absolutely nobody !!

Hasn't been in my team all pre-season.
Way I see it, if he starts well then he will cost me maybe 50k more. Or I pay 40k more and start JPK. He's in a worse freo side than his solid SC years, they will be getting pummelled and I just find it hard to see him scoring like Gaz in GC first year because he's not a monster accumulator. Gets 26-28 touches a game, 60% contested and has to still use it well to score big. I don't know, seems like a lot of risk to save less than 100k. I just can't see him going 120+ which is the only way he really hurts me badly to start the year.

I reckon you've quickly forgotten how good this bloke is Spite. Durability is the only legitimate concern. He'll go 120 again.

If he starts well, it's not that he'll cost you 50k more, it's that you've lost so much ground on the competition and potentially a few league games.
