Mid: P. Dangerfield D. Hannebery T. Rockliff M. Bontempelli N. Fyfe T. Mitchell J. Thonas S. Powell-Pepper (D. Myers N. Freeman

Ruck: M. Gawn S. Martin ( B. Strnadica)

Fwd: L. Dahlhaus J. Gunston P. Ryder H. McCluggage B. Ainsworth J. Bowes (J. Picket B. Eddy)

As usual rookies can change but i feel like the ones on the field will play round 1 at this stage anyway. Happy with my structure of 2 premo, 1 mid price and the rest rookies for both Def and Fwd line. Big possiblity of changing T Mitch to Beams if he's fit to free up some cash to upgrade D3 to a premo. Undecided bewtween either hartlett or hibberd though. I like hartlett just for his contested ball ability. Martin in the ruck i think has been forgotten after his horror year. Still an elite player and at his price is a steal. Gunston will be a great POD player this year. Not many will have him i think and will average 95+ without having too many sub 75 scores. Looking to change ryder to caddy and risk not having that back-up ruck. Gawn and Martin can easily play all 22 games. Any other thoughts would love the feedback.!

10 certain keepers (top 5-10)

Hartlett if he stays fit is a guarantee, but you don't want to be relying on that given that you also have big stef who is in the same boat, with ryder covering though it works out reasonably well.

Gunston is actually a really interesting one... Roughy returning, how does that play out? Does roughy become the king down there again Gunno is given a 2nd key role? Vickery as much of a spud as he is being so tall he'd have to receive one of the bigger guys surely? and if so, does he push up the ground more and increase his overall possession count? I agree with you and really like the pick. He seems like he could play a bit more midfield as well.

Risk v Reward seems pretty good here. However you have 6 round 8 (i think it's round 8) bye players which could prove detrimental.

Still very much looking at my bye situation. Not too keen on changing around many of my premo's though. Could happily change stef to big sauce jacobs. Gunston to me looks like playing a high half fwd role like NRoo. Can rack up possessions and is a lot more accurate shot at goal than NRoo aswell. Can't see vickery doing anything other than warm a seat at the MCG.

I'm very close to picking Gunston.

Roughy I think will play a deep key forward at first to get his match fitness up.
Vickery won't effect him at all.

Think gunston is more likely than Breust to get up the ground and if he gets an extra 5 possessions a game there's no reason why he can't add 10 to his average.

Like the rest of your team btw. One thing to consider is Gold Coast/Port have a bye in round 9 which is being played as a regular season game so you may have some zeros on your field.

Glenmaggie

Nice team, I really like the Tom Mitchell selection, think he will go big. I am worried about the depth in the forward line, could go either way, be great if it pays off. Not sure Ryder and Gunston will be top 10 forwards by seasons end.

Good luck

Very confident of gunston this year. Don't see many people picking him up in their team early on either. Hoping by the time round 9 rolls around ive been able to trade the Gold coast rookies out. Flirting the idea of taking ryder out for boyd or nankervis. But don't seem tochave the balls to pick eother of them. Also easily change hartlett to hibberd or up to hurley aswell.
