He's back and looking the goods @ $290K
Downgraded Roughy to him, picked in 10% of early teams.
Worth considering? All reports are he's been training real well for months.

I reckon the only thing stopping me picking Elliott is the fact I can't see him becoming a keeper.

His highest average in a season was 84 in 2014 (which included a subbed game of 17), but unless we think he can average 90+ I reckon it's a pass for me.

I would definitely lock him in if he was 200-220k, but keep an eye on him over the preseason.

Agree would strongly consider if $70k cheaper,  Actually if selecting a pie prefer Josh Thomas if he makes best 22.

Treading with caution over a lot of the collingwood players. Buckley is throwing a spanner in the works with faz training with defence, keefe with forwards and few other questionable ones i've seen when i've been down there. Important thing is pendles, treloar and adams are in mid group

The_Captain

Thats buckley for you. The guys got no farking idea!

SilverLion

The blokes at an awkward $291k, but is looking mighty tempting...

Year/Games/SC Average
2012   13   60.7
2013   19   72.2
2014   17   83.2
2015   20   76.6
2016   -   -

Not sure if I can see the value in the bloke is all, at that price he'd probably need to turn into a F7/8 minimum, which I think he could possibly do, but will you be sacrificing points in the meantime?

Gigantor

85 ave max so won't be a keeper and won't make enough money as a stepping stone

Would only consider if the rookie situation was dire

Went to the game last night. Elliot looked good and hungry. Unfortunately didn't reflect in SC score. Both sides looked underdone, however he seemed a step ahead with limited game time.

Elliott had 65 SC from 33% game time? Lol

I say again, at $291k YES he is that awkward price BUT he is fit again, his back is fine and in less than a half of footy (all be it JLT) he scored quite well in SC points.
There are a LOT of awkward priced players, however I cannot see him getting dropped and with a relatively young forward line this year he could very well score decently enough to be considered.

JS not even questionable

Won't go 90+ though, so don't bother
