Hyper extending a knee requires daily assessments, 2 weeks minimum one would think, could be more but that's the risk you take. With an older player St Kilda may want to err on the side of caution so perhaps it's better to trade. You could always use this as an opportunity to restructure. Riewoldt to Higgins and leave some $$ up the sleeve for next week.

What do you think of reading Riewoldt to Adams via dpp ... I got that suggestion from a loyal user and I think it is a great idea.

The other trade however I'm considering is Simpkin to Hannan/butler. Just feel like I need to use both trades this week so I have the 2 free next week- then get sit tight.

So you're going to rely on 3 rookies in the forward line?

If I rely on 3 rookies in the forward line it's one less rookie to worry about in def. don't think it makes much difference to be honest. And we have more flexibility for forward cover via dpp.

PureSwag

I was thinking a Nick to a Macrae or Caddy and then you can etiher keep the money or use it to upgrade another position.

Powell Pepper should be on the field. So really its down to Buddy + Stewart/Otten/Hibberd or Adams + Taranto.

as bad as Taranto was id back him in over those 3 defensive rookies every day of the week. Adams v Buddy is much of a muchness.
