B. Eddy is a must have in the forward line.

kosduras

yeah i have in at fwd sub 2 i changed it just after i submitted the post haha thanks for the feedback though !

Hawka

Solid team mate , my two problems in your best 22 is having a rookie (that isnt Taranto) starting in the midfield
I dont think SPP can average over 75 in his first year, his aggresive ways will hurt an average to score well and make serious money.

and Jack Steele is meh to me, seems like a breakout star that will never be

Bully

Agree with the Steele sentiments, he could make it but I'd be watching and observing first. Given he's a nice price you could downgrade to him in round 3 pending the form of the others.

kosduras

thanks for the feedback guys!!

as far as spp goes, i had swallow in there but i saw it to be to much of a risk to put swallow omeara and beams in one team but ill definately look into that

and bully as for jack steele, my main reason for picking him is that he played a ridiculous jlt and looks poised to make some cash early on in an already thin fwd line this year? any ideas of who to upgrade/downgrade him to?

thanks again!

Ringo

I would replace Steele with Roughy - Think Roughy will average more than Steele.

Also think Eddy starts before Houston and gives you another 10k.

I am one who has all three of Beams, JOM and Swallow. In my opinion worth the risk and 2 of the three could become keepers saving trades which is gold.

Just remember also JLT form does not translate to SC. How many times have we chosen a player based on JLT form and been disappointed.

kosduras

yeah absolutely agree with the jlt, only really used it for my rookies, ive changed my team again and probably not for the last time before deadline, as it stands i have

BACKS: SHAW, ADAMS, LAIRD, THURLOW, HAMPTON, E V-W, (OTTEN , STEWART)

MID: DANGER, JELWOOD, TRELOAR, FYFE, TITCHELL, BEAMS, OMEARA, SPP (BARRETT, M HIBBERD, PARFITT)

RUCK: GAWN, SANDI (STRNDICA)

FWD: DAHLHAUS, MCRAE, NANK, HOSKIN-ELLIOT, TARANTO, PICKET (MILES, EDDY)

thinking of changing jelwood to pendles or sloane if either get the go ahead for round 1 and potentially changing mcrae to greene?

thoughts on the potential changes and how the team stands ringo??

Ringo

Not a fan of Greene this year remember Lids will come in and could effect scoring.  Just personal though so go with gut.

Do not mind the Jelwood trade to Pendles not 100% on Sloane being worth it early. Also happy for Jelwood to remain.

Need to watch defence trades as alll three prems share Rd 13 bye, Not critical but something to be aware off when trading in prem defenders.

Nice team as it stands just need all rooks to start.  Reckon panic may settle in next Thirsday and Friday when teams announced,

Nice looking team,

I’m not sure about Thurlow compared to marchbank, i think marchbank has more upside and you have an extra 30k in your pocket.

other than that Ringo is right about the bye rounds but it’s not too important to stress when you are upgrading.

good luck!!

kosduras

thanks for the feedback!

ive recently changed thurlow to marchbank but im not yet sold on it

who could i get in def that works with byes?

Ringo

Keep an eye on these players with Rd 11 and 12 byes - Simpson, Docherty, Rance, Montagns. Burgoyne, Houli to name a few defenders.
