Def: Laird, Adams, Docherty, Marchbank, T.Stewart, Hampton (Otten, M.Hibberd)

Mid: Danferfield, T.Mitchell, Fyfe, Treloar, Hannebery, Beams, O'meara, Swallow (SPP, Barret, T.Miles)

Ruck: Nankervis, Sandilands (D.Cameron)

Fwd: Dalhaus, Macrae, J.Steele, Roughead, Taranto, Butler (Parfitt, Eddy)

I would do nothing this week unless someone is dropped. - Keep an eye on rookies again this week and do correctional trades next week if required. So if rookies dropped trade to allow corrections next week.

Couple of Prems to keep an eye on as well and look at moving them as well. Hanners in particular if he scores low again just a straight swap to JPK.

Go with gut. I have JPK and not getting rid of him. He had 3 scores less than 90 last year so not worried by the 84. Hanners on the other hand seems to have a different role this year whether result of injury or not but playing on wing.

I'm a bit new with all the bye's and stuff. What do you recommend I do from here?
I am thinking my defence is the most urgent??

Or maybe nank to fwd line and trade boyd to martin??

Or any other advice

What trade have you already made?

I'd probably switch Boyd with Cameron for now btw, and keep him as FWD emergency (or play him if you trade Butler).

Upgrading Otten to a premo defender would be decent I reckon though.

I traded out Hampton (to McNiece) which i can still change back if there's a better idea

I actually put D.Cameron on field in ruck with boyd as emergency (if he has a good score I will leave him otherwise switch cameron to nank)

Are you fine with getting McNiece if he isn't named this week? Seems risky with the byes coming up. Isn't many other defensive downgrade options available though...

Defensive upgrade options I'd look at would be Rance, Lloyd, Shaw, Simmo, Hurley, JJ, Roberton, ZWilliams, Hibberd, Howe...basically whoever you want haha. Maybe look at who suits your byes the best.

If waiting till next week also look at Harbrow/Pittard who will now play through the three byes.
