The forgotten forward gem.

With all the hype of getting Kerstan and McCarthy into out forward line, I wonder if some have forgotten that we recruited a certain player last season to play up forward.He spent a lot , in fact most of the season out with a wrist injury.Had several operations to get it right.He was named in the Peel side five weeks before the finals, but I think only played a couple at Peel.He played in the finals and was looking good.Not in the best , but showed pleanty anf I think will return in performances for the club next season.Of course I refer to one ,Harley Balic.The club are very bullish about the kid.He will give us plenty and make life hard for some other after a forward line spot in the Purple.

Wouldnt mind seeing him being trained as a defender.  Good hand, good in congestion.  We will need some youth to replace the likes of Ibbo, Spurr (not for a few years yet) etc.  Sheridan and Sutcliffe just arent cutting it as defenders IMO
