Is it sexist to say that most U16 teams would smash both of these teams?

No, but it's unneccessary imo. Watch the sport for what it is, remember that barely any of these players have played professionally before, and some hadn't held a footy in a game situation a year ago. It'll take a good 5 years before you start seeing really good clean footy. It should be compared to when men's games were played by amateurs, so like 1900(??). I wasn't alive then so idk whether it's better quality :P

Now, the big question, which team do I support in this comp?

I think it's great. As said, take it for what it is. Always good to see Blues winning of  Pies. Just in the blood, I guess.

Go girls!

Think you might have to go interstate.

With all the strategic and skill-based knowledge, equipment available, coaching and training around plus shorter quarters and a smaller ball play would be a bit better than fumble, fumble, fumble, tackle, ball up, repeat. Chicks cricket and tennis are far better than this!

At least it looks like it's smashing the usual NRL and A-League audience figures :P

Women's cricket and tennis (especially tennis) have had years of publicity and exposure so young girls play it their whole lives. And I completely disagree regarding the equipment and coaching available when comparing to those other sports.

Agree that the fumbles are the only thing that make it look scrappy. Once they go it'll be really good :) Just gotta give it time

Oh yeah that's a given, it won't be Adelaide or Collingwood. Might have to bandwagon Carlton after tonight, not sure yet will have to see how the other teams play first :P

No offence to anyone but I killed the SB market last night. Not sure what the AFL/Bookies/Players where thinking but under 98.5 or whatever it was might have been the least worried I've been about everything.

Onto the game, it just doesn't flow due to ball use and pace of player, despite one girl kicking a bunch of goals the game wasn't dominated by a single player who just took the game over and was a step above which led to panic 90% of the time

Didn't catch much of the game, but enjoyed the little I saw. But I'm not that fussed about clean footy, I mean, I follow the Lions :P I'm keen for when the players go full time professional.
