Should Essendon be eligible for No 1 Draft Pick.

ok so im anti bombers but clearly they deserve the pick where they finished on the ladder in 2015.

the draft is designed to balance the comp to help out the teams that are struggling.

Brisbane deserve the number 1 pick and almost got it with half of the essendon team out.

they are the team that is really being punished.

Pick 2 and 1 is a big deal.

you could say every team that would have finished under essendon is disadvantaged.

its not further punishment taking away their 1st pick, its giving them the actual compensation (draft pick) for their squads strengh.

does anyone think that they need pick 1 more then brisbane do?

if the response is well they lost players so that balances it out, whos fault is that really?

also they also got to blood youngsters which is another positive.

they should give the other 17 teams a priority pick at the start of the draft :P

GC Brisbane Calrton finished below them in 2015. Freo only won 4 games this year.

It doesnt matter Essendon irrelevant regardless and GC get compo gifts.

hahahaha, bombers get minimum of N4, anything else would be unfair regardless of what happened this year. N4 would be fair, its where they finished last year :P Again it would of had to be decided before the year started and no1 predicted freo to be this bad.
