The NBA game is less frustrating in the foul department, it's not continuously manic in speed, do you have a team you are following?

I didn't want to be a band wagon guy so I've decided to jump on the Dallas Mavericks
Good choice Money, solid organisation for a while now 8)

The NBA game is more about the players imo, Not much defence is played in the NBA. The game is quick for the good teams but is played with structure rather than just going end to end. The regular season means close to nothing as more than 50% of the teams get into the playoffs plus the regular season is very long

Actually - EXACTLY 50% of the teams get in to the playoffs.  32 teams in total, 16 teams make playoffs.
So confused

Understandable when there's actually only 30 teams...way to confuse the rookie!  :o

Lucky that's easy to work out aha

Also need an NBA team to follow, from my brief interpretations of playing NBA Live I take it that the Timberwolves are the GWS of the NBA?

Pretty much, haha. Although given that basketball is more of an individual game, it was the fact that Minnesota hit on one transformationally elite draft pick that has given them such a bright future, rather than the GWS model of just being continually injected with top-end talent through the draft.

And Minnesota has some history :P providing some really fun teams in the early-mid 2000s.

Tempted to get tickets for the NBA Preseason game Kings & Lakers @ Honda Centre in Anaheim Oct 4th.
Can not go to the Minnesota & Charlotte as that is on the 10/10 as will be at the Panthers vs Buccaneers Game the same night.
