Thoughts on Aaron Hall and scoring to the end of the season.

I know he had a ripper start to the season but what do we think he can do from here? Remember that last season he was smashing it when playing in the mids but is he going to be doing that for much longer?

I guess the question is, will he be a top 8 forward come fantasy finals?

His first half was pretty bad on weekend, got 53 in second half... I think he can get to 100s again. The worry is what happens if they get a few mids back. Like omeara whos due back soon, not sure about swallow.

JOM may still be a couple of weeks away as he is not named in NEAFL side this week.  Swallow I think is out for the season with his knee.

In that case he should be good for at least the next few weeks. really hes only got the 2 bad scores. The one before he got dropped and the 86 just been. 86 isnt that bad a score, id see what he does this week. If you have the luxury of trading him id get rid of if he goes anything below 90.

My worry is that if he scores 80/90 over the next 2 weeks he will lose another $20 or $30k. Then Omera will be back around then and his output reduced again, meaning he is not DT relevant. Do you see this being the case?

There will be others in your side with higher break evens, he has already lost most of the $$$ that he will. He isnt too far off upgrade price is yiou need to later down track. I would worry about otehr upgrades first.

Others are C Daniel and Kerridge.

Ended up holding him and traded Wagner to Montagna through DPP.

Back onto the Aaron Hall debate....

My Midfield currently is

Danger, Treloar, Steven, Rockliff
Parker, TMitch, SMitch, Hall.

My Forward line is currently

NReiwoldt, DMartin, ZMerret,
Barlow (INJ), Rose, Phillips

(Hams emergancy for Barlow)

What to do with Hall?

I can keep him a M8.
I Can upgrade him as a Mid

I can send him to be my F6/7
I can upgrade him as a Fwd

I have 315k banked - so I can pretty much do anything as an option.

But how much value is there in keeping him.

Thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

Send him forward for sure mate. He is very handy with those scores as a fwd! Keep him at f6 until he has 2 sub 90 scores in a row!

Agreed. If he is at worst your f6 then you are laughing.

Has anyone heard any news on the Hall Injury?

I am trying to find anything about how severe it might be - but haven't seen anything, anywhere.

Trying to decide if I hold him this week - easy decision if I know that he is likely only out for one.....

Anybody heard anything at all?

A few people saying that its only a week and has tightness. This has only come out 10 minutes ago through Twitter (Dunny from DT Talk)... Fingers crossed!

QuoteINJURY now grips six Gold Coast Suns midfielders with Aaron Hall joining the long list of ball users on the sideline.

Hall could miss up to three games, including tomorrow’s Round 18 clash against Fremantle, with a hamstring injury.

The 25-year-old strained his hamstring during the club’s main training session on Thursday and scans today confirmed the club’s concerns.

“It looks like it’s only a minor one but it’ll be two weeks probably after this game, so three games,” Suns coach Rodney Eade said.
