Seems insignificant but really don't want to get this one wrong... Tippa has been way more consistent, and Smith I find unbearable to watch. Tippa has been solid over the past 5 weeks usually getting 75+, and brown I have up forward to use dpp if desperate. However, I'm worried about tipungwuti dropping off or getting rested, and Smith has shown ability to get 100+ (on occasion). Trading one out for Simpson

Team is

Shaw, docherty, Simpson, laird, rance, Smith/tippa (Collins, brand)

Dangerfield, pendles, hannebery, ward, treloar, ablett, Parker liberatore (trengrove, Stewart, dunkley)

Goldstein, Martin

Martin zorko deledio wells montagna kerridge (Phillips, brown)

tttt

not sure what jsmiths be is but id look at getting rid of him
AMT is solid cover

Uncle

Sorry should have been more clear - brodie Smith vs tipungwuti for d6

Common sense would probably point to Smith.  But after his behaviour last year I swore him off for life.  Plus, I like Tippa, pretty good footballer in the making there..."the human bowling ball"... more powerful than a locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet.

Am I missing something?

How do you have 9 defenders?

Uncle

I don't. Right now I have docherty, Shaw, laird, rance, tippa and Smith. With Collins and brand on the bench. I'll be trading tippa/Smith to Simpson

I'm with you... Common sense says Smith. But I hate watching him play, and love watching tippa play

I'd keep Tipa as that's what I'm doing. Have to get rid of Hall and also have Tippa in Fwds so will get Montagna for Hall. Not gonna lose any more cash on that spud. Plus he can swap with Adams as D7.

I think you need to keep Smith.

I am an owner and have been frustrated by his scores this year. He is a guy who should be averaging 90+ with ease however he is as soft as butter.

In saying that, as I said, I would hold. He has a very soft draw in the back half of the season and his lower scores have all had reasons ie wet conditions, against a tough opposition etc.

Tippa is a gun, love watching him, however I think he will average around the 70-75 mark. Not what ou want in a d6.

My prediction is for Smith to average around 90 from here.

Problem is Smith produces some shower scores like what we saw on the weekend. Can ton up but I think his role has probably changed since Laird and Atkins have cemented their spot the last year or two.
