A Zerrett 121 aand JJK 78 just makes things worse for the Alliance...

They need a miracle I think.

can we have a tougher challenge next year Purp?

Nige

Would have been competitive if Mummy, Gov and Hutch played... but nope.

Hellopplz

EURASIA WINS! EURASIA WINS!

After today's matches and a poor Captain's performance from the little master, it leaves the Alliance left with a score below 150 with all their players played. Even with Pendles courageous effort, there was sadly just too many let downs for the side to carry. However Pendles may have just snatched the best afield off of Zac Williams >:(.

Dropping Steven proves a masterful move by Holz, after he put in a shocking 52 on the emergency list! A solid all round effort with a low score of 85 to Dustin Martin (compared to a 46 from Heath Shaw of the Alliance), it pretty much assured the fate of the Alliance with a more consistent display by the EurAsians.

Now the question remains, can EurAsia crack 170?

Your a legend HP!

Yay EurAsia! But I'll be at the game to coach Gawn to be the World's Medalist though  8)

Holz

I'm undoing the previous change with Holz's blessing. So Cameron back out for Gawn.

EurAsia Destroys Alliance

Well, we've had closer matches that is for sure! The game was already decided with two more EurAsian's to spare in what would have been a fairly deflating and disappointing effort from the Alliance. Although this clash had 1 more centurion than last year's epic encounter, the Alliance had a whopping 6 players that scored below 80, which you just can't afford to have in this standard of game. The EurAsians meanwhile had contributions from EVERYONE; their lowest scorer was Dubliner Dustin Martin's 84! But it was perhaps their top scorer that surprised in PNL's Zachary Williams! He proved the turning point in the match really; outscoring two of the Alliances' defenders in Bartel & Shaw put together. Williams takes home the EurAsia medal back to PNL as well as pride from their supporters.

The Alliance just had a day to forget really, aside from the efforts of Worlds Medallist Scott Pendlebury (161) to try and bridge the gap. But even that could be highlighted as unfortunate, as he was not selected as captain. As already mentioned, Suns Shaw (46) and Bartel (54) were the team killers in the end, as well as Tom Mitchell (60) and even Leigh Montagna (70). Had they scored their averages and Mexico City captain Pendlebury... it would have been a hell of a game.

EurAsia received a significant contribution from Dublin (7 players), hence the title, but found contribution from every team except Tokyo whom could have offered the biggest of them all in Luke Parker (161)!

EurAsia (27.11.173) def AAP Alliance (23.11.149)

Best

EurAsia: Alex Rance, Zachary Williams, Patrick Dangerfield, Daniel Hannebery, Lachie Neale, Rory Sloane, Zachary Merrett, Lance Franklin, Joel Selwood, Jack Gunston
AAP Alliance: Kade Simpson, Scott Pendlebury, Tom Rockliff, Josh P Kennedy, Michael Barlow, Bryce Gibbs, Josh Gibson

Late Changes

EurAsia: Luke Dahlhaus & Matthew Scharenberg replaced by Joel Selwood & Jack Gunston
AAP Alliance: Robert Murphy replaced by Josh Gibson

ZACHARY WILLIAMS wins the EURASIA Medal
SCOTT PENDLEBURY wins the AAP ALLIANCE Medal
SCOTT PENDLEBURY wins the WORLDS Medal

Well done EurAsia and Holz

149 is seen only as a pretty good score these days, strange to think Mexico City probably average more?

Maybe better to have played the Suns!

its a shocker. The suns were the main culprits though.

Its scary to think I could have just named Dublin and we would have won. I got to say I was tempted to drop Gawn for Omac
