Which D/F rookie option do you think is best guys?

Hipwood, just because he is the only one that will play

Uber is injured, and Hammer looks like he can't score well and will be dropped before Hipwood too I'd say

Hipwood also looks like he has decent JS aswell JD.

Just his price is pretty expensive for a rookie at $162,300. :-\

You want one of these guys so you can swing Adams to cover def and fwd right?

If your F8 is good enough to cover then grab Uber, so if you need Adams down back one week and a fwd your F8 can cover, but if both your F8 and D8 are rubbish not playing than grab Hipwood

Hipwood easy out of those, Leppa was also talking him up so i'd expect him to get a bit of game time from now & until season end, i'd imagine you are getting low on trades therefore avoid floating donuts @ this stage of the year.

Hipwood is still developing physical wise (grown 3cm this year) so he may get a rest as well. As RD says if you only want a swingman at F8 or D8 without playing then go the cheaper option and use cash elsewhere but if wanting cover then Hipwood. Hammelman will more than likely go out for Cutler after byes whereas Hipwood is keeping Freeman out.

I have Kerridge at f7, adams as d7. I want to start using the loophole.

My setup will be like this RD.

D6 - Adams, D7 - Collins, D8 - Brand/Lee

F6 - Petracca - F7 - Menadue - F8 - D/F rookie

Plan to upgrade Menadue to Dahlhaus when he bottoms out and keep Petracca as cover. And hopefully I can upgrade Collins to my last premo defender.
