Yeah in this day and age of Footy how a team can be leading 61 to 0 is just insane

Brissy have kicked 2 goals now, but still - 61 to 0!!

Can add Brisbane to the list of teams I won't tip again

Hanley, Bundy, Squizz, Green, Bastinac. All need to get a lot more of the pill in the 2nd half.

Thanks Bastinac for ruining my Eliminator you spud, all I needed was a bloody 80 and you dish up this shower.  >:(

Was too disgusted to come on when I got home from the game. Just hope it was not a to show the AFL that Qld only should have one team to support Leigh Matthews comments earlier in the week.  ;)

Can not find anything positive to say about the team at all.  This was the most insipid performance I have seen by a Brisbane team for many years. The really disappointing fact and sorry Pies fans in my opinion Collingwood were not that good either and if we had played a top team we would probably have been beaten by the record margin. Where would we have been without Zorko as he was probably the only one of the 22 who could hold his head high?

Pies kicking for goal was attrocious and the margin should have been 100+.

Was my first observation of Cox and he will be great for the Pies and was really impressed not by his marking but his work at ground level for such a tall person was great.  Will make it difficult for Witts to get back into team.

Will probably do a more intensive write up in Brisbane thread later as I have still not calmed down after that performance.

And for those thinking of getting Beams into team this may temper your enthusiasm.

"Brisbane Lions: Beams was taken off at the final change and did not return. In just his second match back from knee tendonitis, coach Justin Leppitsch said the star midfielder would likely require surgery again at some stage â€" but not at the moment. "It's something we can manage. It's one of those things, we've got to wait and see if we can manage it through games. It just was a bit much for him today to keep going."
